Complete the Higher Certificate Marketing Management Course if you are interesting in pursuing an Advertising Manager career.
You are given 36 months to complete the course, though many students will be able to finish their studies in 24 months.
To qualify for this course, you will need a National Senior Certificate, a Senior Certificate or a National Certificate Vocational (NQF4) – in addition you will need a mark of at least 30% in the language of teaching and learning.

Aside from creating campaigns, you will need to oversee the process of buying advertising slots through various media channels, after having researched options to find the best fit.
You will also be required to oversee and manage staff within the advertising department, including designers and copywriters.
This position is in a high-pressure environment and requires somebody who can solve problems quickly while also being a creative thinker.
Excellent communication skills are required, while you also need to show leadership qualities.
