This person may be responsible for overseeing the entire operation, or tasked with a certain section of a larger operation.

The Plant Manager must ensure that things are running at an optimum level, and does this by assigning workers to various jobs, as well as keeping track of work and production schedules.

It is also their responsibility to hire and train any new employees, while also keeping an eye on safety and ensuring that all equipment is in good running order.

They will be in contact with various other departments to ensure good coordination and a seamless production process.

This role is ideal for an organised individual that pays attention to detail. Communication skills must be exceptional while you will also require leadership qualities.
