Taking on the Project Management Course on offer through IQ Academy will set you on the path to enjoying a successful Project Administrator career.

Our Business Short Course can also be completed within a 3 to 6 month period, with interest free course repayment terms over a 24 month period.

The objectives are to provide the fundamental knowledge of important project management terminology, an understanding of project planning as well as all of the required skills to see a project through from planning to completion.

If you would like to enrol for this course, it is important to note that you need to be 16 or older, along with having completed Grade 9, and being able to read and write in English.

The Project Management Course consists of four modules and prepares you for a number of roles in the project management industry.

Taking on the Project Administrator role means that you would be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations – while coordinating and managing the various phases to ensure that the project remains on track and is completed within the required deadline.

You would be involved from the planning stage, helping establish budgets and decide on a timeline, while staff management will be required throughout.

The Project Administrator will need to analyse and come up with solutions to problems, track performance, communicate with the various people working on the project and also compile reports for management on a regular basis.

This role is best suited to someone who is organised, good at problem solving and able to work within a team – while still showing leadership abilities.
