This Business Short Course can be done over 24 months, and is open to students who are at least 16 years of age, and have completed Grade 9. You must be able to read and write in English, as this is the language that the course is conducted in.

The role of a Project Manager is to ensure that projects are completed timeously and within budget, while ensuring that objectives are met and that staff are completing the required tasks.

There a numerous responsibilities that must be undertaken by the Project Manager. This includes agreeing project objectives as well as representing the interests of a client or organisation.

You would be responsible for organising the required staff to work on a project, analyse risk, and ensure that all quality standards are met.

Projects need to be tracked with regular reports on the progress on specific tasks.

This role is best suited to a person that is organised, can communicate clearly and has the ability to work with a team.

Computer skills are essential for compiling reports, while you will also be required to use various IT systems to oversee task progression.
