The course provides students with a good overview of the Public Finance Management Act and includes the important aspects of public procurement and supply chain management. The course explains the budgeting process, which is key to service delivery and programme management and execution. Students will be equipped with practical skills to ensure compliance in terms of legislation as well as best practice, in the management of public funds.
