Dear iQ Community
As part of the global community, the outbreak of COVID-19 has posed significant challenges to people, organisations and the economy – the magnitude of which is unparalleled in modern times. The declaration by President Ramaphosa on Sunday 15 March 2020 that the spread of COVID-19 is now a national disaster has wide-reaching effects on all South Africans. iQ Academy, as a responsible institution, is aligned to the efforts of the South African government and its departments and will continue to support their programme to prevent and limit the spread of this virus. As an organisation we are responding at three levels:
1. Safeguard the health of our employees
2. Adopt responsive strategies to ensure the continued operational capability of the institution
3. Support our students to continue with their studies
The situation we face is dynamic and evolving daily and we will adapt our response plans based on new information or protocol being published.
iQ Academy is a leader in offering distance and online learning in South Africa. Through our online portal, students will continue to access their learning content and receive academic support as per normal. Thus, for now, we will operate as normal. We are confident that our students can utilise this time of restricted social contact to their academic advantage and ensure learning is gained through focusing on course work.
Separate communication will be sent to all higher certificate and diploma students regarding the upcoming graduation scheduled for 22-23 April 2020 and exams scheduled for June 2020.
