Dear iQA Students
One of our advantages as a leader in the distance education environment is our capability to provide various support requirements to our students even under difficult circumstances. We have built our capability through an innovation-driven service agenda with skilled and dedicated people who bring our ideas to life, so we can do better for our students. As an organisation we will use this challenge to spearhead further innovation to better the lives of our students and ensure we continue to lead in providing accessible and affordable education.
“You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before”
– Former White House Chief of Staff and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel
During the lockdown period, our core student-related services remain operational and available to our students.
- Academic support
After the first week of lockdown, it appears that South Africans are settling down and acclimatising to our new reality, it is still not easy and natural but necessary to help SA flatten the curve (as popularly referred to in the media). We have enabled the entire academic faculty responsible for supporting all our students to work remotely. They will be available during the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 and can be contacted through the channels below. The iQA Faculty continues to encourage students to plan their lives and continue to use free time to progress with their learning paths. Students can access their learning content, quizzes, discussion forums, and assignments through our mobile-friendly student portal, iCan, and continue learning whilst the lockdown period is underway. Students that have limited access to the internet can continue their studies through their textbooks and study guides. Channels:

Thus, our services may drop or be disrupted during this period due to poor connectivity. We ask for your understanding and patience during this time.
